Activities such as golfing, fishing, and cycling are available in the area. I couldn't resist channeling my inner pro golfer and attempting a swing that ended up more like a startled bird trying to take flight.

The bathroom layout was a bit tricky. Plinth around the bath made me feel like I was crossing a tightrope, and the lack of a toiletries shelf left me balancing my essentials on the control panel above the tub.

Parking: Had to pay for parking at the long stay car park. A permit could have been included in the price like other cottages.

The location of Banks Place was excellent, just a few hundred yards from the main street in Keswick. It made exploring the town and the surrounding areas very convenient.

During my stay, I had the pleasure of exploring the beautiful Whinlatter Forest Park, which was only 9 km away. It felt like stepping into a fairytale, with towering trees and enchanting trails guiding me through nature's wonders. The peaceful ambiance and breathtaking views made it a memorable experience.

Great location, close to all the shops and attractions. Kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were really comfortable. The bath and shower were fantastic, perfect for relaxing after a long day.

The outside of the property needs work, it doesn't look inviting. The bathroom was a bit dangerous with the plinth around the bath.
